Chief Sales Officer
Bette Brand has 32 years of experience with Farm Credit. She grew up on a family farm in Bedford County and graduated in 1982 from Virginia Tech with a B.S. degree in Animal Science and in 1990 with a MBA. Her career with Farm Credit began when she graduated and she has held the positions of loan officer, marketing manager, Chief Financial Officer, Regional Lending Manager and currently serves as the Chief Sales Officer. She supports the lending team in business development and also advocates for farmers, rural communities and Farm Credit with elected officials at the state and national level. She also serves on several industry boards. She is excited to be a part of the team at the Knowledge Center to help all farmers be successful.

Knowledge Center Director
Matt Lohr joined Farm Credit of the Virginias in December of 2013 as Director of the Knowledge Center. Although he is new to Farm Credit, he has been deeply involved in agriculture his entire life. Raised on a century farm in Rockingham County, he became active in the FFA and served as both a state and national FFA officer. Matt graduated from Virginia Tech in 1995 and has spent time farming, teaching middle school agriscience, serving as a member of the state legislature and most recently serving as Virginia's Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services. He is excited to be a part of the Knowledge Center team and is ready to help serve the needs of the agricultural community.

Knowledge Center Relations Specialist
Kyley Clevenger recently joined Farm Credit of the Virginias in May of 2013 to serve as the Knowledge Center Coordinator. She grew up on her family farm in Stephenson, VA showing livestock on the local, state and national level and participated on multiple livestock judging teams. Kyley graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009 with a B.S. degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics. Upon graduation, she returned to her hometown and became actively involved in various agricultural organizations such as the Ag Advisory Council, the county Fair Board, Leader of the 4-H Livestock Club for Frederick County as well as serves as a committee member for several livestock shows. She is blessed to be a part of this exciting initiative with the Knowledge Center and is looking forward to working with the agricultural community.

Knowledge Center Communications Specialist
Rebecca Webert joined Farm Credit of the Virginias in May of 2014 as the Knowledge Center Communications Specialist. Rebecca has been involved in agriculture her whole life, growing up on her family farm in Shenandoah County. She was active in 4-H and FFA, was on several judging teams including the Virginia Tech Collegiate Judging Team and showed cattle on a local, regional and national level. Rebecca graduated from Virginia Tech in 2006 with a B.S. in Animal and Poultry Science and Texas A&M in 2008 with a M.S. in Animal Breeding. Since then she has been the Executive Director of the Virginia Angus Association and most recently the Education and Information Coordinator for Lord Fairfax Soil and Water Conservation District. She and her husband also own a business providing marketing and graphic design services to livestock producers. She is excited to be a part of the Knowledge Center and looks forward to helping the agricultural community.
