Lemon Bars

Chocolate is wonderful...but sometimes it nice to have a dessert that doesn't include chocolate.  Enter these delicious lemon bars.  They are a favorite of Kyley's (our Knowledge Center Director) dad, and would be a perfect way to end a stay at home Valentine's dinner (or let's face it, any dinner).

These do take a little bit of time since they actually bake in the oven twice - once for the crust and once for the filling, but they can be made ahead of time since they need to cool before sprinkling with powdered sugar.  That means no worrying about dessert while you are fixing the rest of your Valentine's day dinner!!

Bonus - you get to support dairy farmers (butter), wheat farmers (flour), poultry farmers (eggs) and citrus producers (lemon/lime juice) at the same time!
