Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!
As we enter full swing with the holidays, it seems natural to reflect on this past year, and look forward to the new one.  The Farm Credit Knowledge Center has seen some changes this year – Matt Lohr, our Director left in May to return to the family farm, and Kyley Clevenger stepped into the role of Director.  In August, Lauren Arbogast joined the team as the Relations Specialist, filling the vacancy left when Kyley stepped into her new role.  In addition, we have been fortunate to have an intern from VSU with us this fall.  And finally, Bette Brand, Chief External Affairs Officer for Farm Credit, and a driving force behind the Knowledge Center, is retiring at the end of the year.
Even with all of these changes, the Knowledge Center is extremely thankful to continue to be able to provide information and education to those currently involved in agriculture, those interested in becoming involved in agriculture, and those who want to learn more about agriculture and where their food and fiber comes from.  Our goal is to continue to provide information to help farmers to be more successful, and share information to help consumers be able to connect with the people who produce their food and gain a better understanding about just how incredible the agricultural industry really is.
As we look forward to 2018 we want to continue to provide relevant information for those in agriculture, and everyone who benefits from agriculture.  If you have any questions you would like answered, or topics that you think may be good for us to explore this year, please feel free to share!
We hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season and offer our best wishes for a terrific New Year…and we look forward to seeing you at Knowledge Center or agriculture related events in 2018!

The Farm Credit Knowledge Center supports all types of agriculture.  We strive to share relevant, fact based content from trusted and reliable sources to help share information that will be of benefit to both agriculture producers and consumers.
